Saturday saw the sun shine on our 12 strong ladies team as we won the plate back from the Pegasus golf society. Generous Bob Appleby organised his team and bought breakfast for everyone mid morning on Saturday. We then announced the matches and playing order as we knew our pairings and set out to try and win the plate back which we lost last year.
The banter began early and lasted until we said goodbye. The gents were gracious in defeat and congratulated the ladies on the golf played. The result was 3 & a half / 2 & a half. So well done to all the team most of whom posed above ....
The missing pair were Gill Newson and Jean Alback. We were also cheered on by Jane and Lisa.
Well done to everyone and I am sure everyone looks forward to next year.
