Lady Captain's Day

Thanks to everyone who took part, and well done surviving the heat, I hope you are all somewhat recovered by now!
A great day I hope you agree, and I had fun driving around (after my 17th hole observation duties), distributing Pimms, beer and snacks (anyone for a pasty BTW??). Thanks Rena and Georgina for the cool boxes, I would have struggled without them!!!

Congratulations to all winners:
1st - Julie 39 pts (well done on handicap cut to 13)
2nd - Sally 36 pts (well done on handicap cut to 25)
3rd - Rena 35 pts
Apologies for the mix up with the prize presentation, it wouldn't be West Malling without it.

Nearest pins:
2nd - Jane
4th - Marion
8th - Julie
13th - Sue S
14th - Caroline
17th - Caroline (and a whisker away from hitting the pin)
I found the NP ball markers I thought I'd forgotten.. they were in a box in my bag for safety!

Longest drive:
10th - Julie

Charity sweep:
Pink gin - Diana
Malt whisky - Caroline

You all raised a magnificent £650 from raffle ticket sales, charity sweep and other donations, including £65 from the Yellow Perils. Thanks to Penny, Gill and Steve M for selling tickets.

I'll also add to that, the £82 from the 'guess the skittles in the bottle' (total was 295), which I ran internally and externally for a few weeks.
Include the Quiz night and it's a whopping £1019 to add to the total to date. Wow, and that doesn't yet include Smarties tubes returned from Helen Cornwall, Denise Farley and Kim's mum & dad (Lindsay's was the first and has been added already).

I'm so pleased, so truly, a heart felt THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Jill
