Lady Captains Report
June 2023
The weather has been glorious with many days of sunshine and blue skies. It has been wonderful weather for golf and our courses are in excellent condition.
The Captain's Charity Day was very successful raising a subsyantialamoumt for Bowel Cancer thanks to the generosity of the members. My thanks go Rob and Debbie Satchel for all their hard work before, on the day and afterwards. I would also like to thank Penny Rowland, Rena Jones and Denise Cooper for their help and support. Julie for sorting out a golf problem. There were many others who contributed to make the day a success with help, raffle prizes and support, so my thanks go to everyone.
There have been external competitions this month with some great scores to take players through to the next stages. We wish all our ladies good luck when they play.
Congratulations to all the Pearson Team and Rena Jones for reaching the Kent Finals Day at Sittingbourne. Although we lost in the morning Semi Final to Nizels the team had a great day, and our best result for many years. Good luck next year!
