Archer 5 Club Results

Thank you to all the ladies who entered and played in this competition. The weather was uncertain and the competition was halted when conditions made play unfair. The competition was reduced to 12 holes.
The drama continued with 4 players scoring 23 points and therefore the winners were decided on countback. Hard Luck to Jeannette Johnson who missed out on prizes altogether.

Mixed Friendship Cup Results

We had another successful day on Sunday 16th with 16 couples taking part. The results were as follows: 1st Helen Venus and Trevor Venus 44pts 2nd Sally Payne and John Suttling 41pts (on c/b) 3rd Georgina Venus and Lee Venus 41 pts Congratulations to the winners and thank you to everyone who took part. The next mixed is on Sunday 30th September. This is a drawn competition so no one will be playing with their regular partners. Lady Captain's Away Day

My Away Day was held on Thursday 6th September at Pedham Place, in lovely sunshine.
It was a great day with 30 ladies taking part. Quite a few of us had never played the course before. It was a links type course and was very enjoyable, sometimes it was tricky to work out which mound you should aim over to find the fairway but it was good fun.
