Bradley Cook Parallel Plate Semi Finals

The West Malling Bradley Cook team:
Sue Stickland, Jane Woodward, Lydia Doherty, Debbie Condor, Caroline Harrison, Helen Venis and Jill Gambling have beaten both Wrotham Heath and Kings Hill.
We will now play Redlibbets in the Semi Finals. Home and Away matches will be played before September 9th.

I have requested the management of the club for our competition and tee times to be grouped together so the integrity of the event is maintained and length of time is kept within reasonable bounds!

Mixed Flag Results

Once again we had a good turnout of 26 couples for the mixed flag and beautiful weather too! This is always such a fun competition with everyone desperately keen to keep going without placing their flags in the ground. There were 7 couples who ended going up the 19th with 4 of them actually on the green. The results were:

Fortunately our last group out, Robert & Yvonne Gormley and Jenny & John Aldridge collected all our flags safely as they came in - well all apart from Jane Woodward's. We finally discovered it  hidden up a tree on the 16th. I  would have loved to have seen her try and play the ball from where it was found!!

Thanks again to Debbie Conder and Gill Newson for all their support at these mixed competitions. The next mixed is The Tunisian on Sunday 1st September and the entry sheet will go up this weekend.
