Sara - update
Just to let you know, Sara had her operation yesterday and all went very well. In fact she is already annoying the doctors, so that speaks volumes! She'll be home as soon as she possibly can, but for the immediate future they probably have chains on her ankles and locks on the doors!

Xmas 12 Hole & lunch
The weather held off and after a few re-shuffles, 38 ladies made it out for the 12 holes, most sporting a fine display of festive jumpers or hats. Thank you Denise for your patience :) Well done everyone!
Results as follows:
1st: Lindsay Hart - 23 points
2nd: Diana Scott - 22 points
3rd: Kim Wellman - 20 points c/b
Nearest Pin: 3rd - Stella Pitt / 7th - Cathy Smith
Quiz supremo: Cathy Smith 14 points
Heads & Tails: Sue Gofton
An excellent lunch was enjoyed by 45 of us on the dot of 2.30! It was lovely to have Lydia, Jane, Belinda, Margaret, Avril, Vicky and Helen D join us for lunch.
Thanks to Georgina for sponsoring the NPs, Caroline for the Quiz prize and Diana for the lovely flowers for the tables and changing room.
My thanks to everyone for getting into the spirit and buying into the baubles, drive-in, quiz, heads & tails (Debbie S, that was just for you!) and to Diana for selling the tickets. So far, along with the sales after the AGM Texas Scramble and two donations in lieu of Xmas cards yesterday (thanks Pat and Debbie T), we have raised £374. A fantastic start which I'm thrilled with!
For anyone who is interested, if you would prefer to give a donation to charity instead of sending Christmas cards, Rena is going to put a card in the changing rooms which you can sign, then give me your donation or put in an envelope and leave with Lara.
Finally.... thank you Debbie Tennant for your valiant effort with the horn trying to get the room's attention! (I fear a bigger horn is required...)
I'd like to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas.
