Coffee Morning
Hi ladies
I hosted my coffee morning today. I want to say thank you to all who supported the event and those of you who made a donation towards it. I also want to thank all the ladies who donated those fabulous cakes I still feel sick, cause I made a point of trying most of them, I don't think I was alone at it. The event was a great success with over 30 ladies in attendance, but I must say the parking was a bit tricky I have to work something out for next time.
I never dreamt that we would be enjoying our coffee and cakes in the garden, what a beautiful day we had for it. I am very please to say that we raised £430 for Newlife I can't get over the generosity of all the ladies.
I'm hoping to have a wine and cheese evening so watch this space.
Thanks again x

Captain's Report for March
As the weather seemed to have been getting nicer, apart from these gust of wind we
had the last few days one almost thought spring was in the air . But we are
hopeful that spring will be abound us soon. We seem to have a lot more ladies entering stableford and medal competitions which is great.
It seems like a long time ago we had the Saturday Valentines Fun Comp. with four teams of three.
As we only had four teams there was only first Prize which was won by Donna, Anne S and Coral
well done ladies.
The next competition is on the 24th of March, its our first mixed comp this year. The Yard of String.
This is always a popular one so don't forget to signup. We also have the Rosebowl for the 65 and over it runs alongside the Tuesday and Saturday Stableford. It is a casual entry competition.
I met with Steve Deacon last week to try and organise our signup competitions being entered into the system, but at the moment management have not yet worked out how it will be set up. They are happy to do it but it will be a working progress. I will make sure to keep you all well informed as we go along.
We had the meet and greet on Sunday the 10th and as you all know the weather was too winding to play and the power was off in the club house, we were lucky to get a cup of tea or coffee. I want to thank the ladies from the committee who were able to attend. We didn't need many as only two out of four I was expecting turned up, with the weather we had on the day I can't blame them.
I have posted on the blog a coffee morning that I will be hosting at home in aid of my charity Newlife
everyone is welcome. I have also put up a signup sheet in changing room if you're interested cause I need to know numbers. I'm hopeful that I will get plenty of support.
Well ladies its all getting very exciting with the board in changing room filling up with competitions to be entered. Hope the weather is good to us so we can play as much golf as our hearts desire.

WM LADIES LOTTERY
The above lottery has been running for many years, but over the last couple of years many people have stopped taking part. It was started as a way to make some money for the ladies section, but as it generates less than £50 a year the committee has decided that at the end of March 2019 it will finish.
Any monies on ladies accounts will be returned.
Thank you to all the ladies who have administered the lottery over the years.
