Lady Captain's Report

We had a very dry month and believe lots of golf has been played by everyone.
I'm back in the swing of it once again after a bad back, unfortunately, my golf hasn't improved.

Since our last meeting we had quite a few competitions, there was the mix flag comp with three flags coming onto the 18th hole, then the Masters which was played in extremely hot weather, unfortunately not many ladies entered. Then we had the mid-season pairs followed by the Captain's Day.  I want to say thank you to all the ladies for their support and donations on the day.  I also have to mention Duncan or he won't forgive me. Joking aside he did a great job on the halfway house
convincing the ladies they needed a Pimms and best if they mixed it with prosecco.  I also want to thank Jeff Alback and Keeli for sitting and watching  the ladies come onto the 17th
hole for the hole in one comp.

Alot of preparation went into the day, but what a day it was for me.  I really enjoyed it and hope everyone else did.  The raffle on the day raised £1000 by the ladies section and the men raised over £1000, so a good day for Newlife as well.  Then last but not least we've played the Pegasus and I'm very happy to say that we kept the Cup, well-done ladies. A big thank you to Bob Appleby for setting up the halfway house on the day, it was a very refreshing welcome.

Then we had the Championship on the weekend great results from our ladies, Congratulations to all the winners.

Keep enjoying the golf ladies

Topsy Turvy Mixed Competition

Just a reminder that the sign up sheet for the Topsy Turvy to be held on Sunday, 25 August is on the noticeboard in the corridor. It will be taken down on 11 August.

This a fun competition so don't forget to sign up!

Overnighter - Balance due

Greetings Lady Overnighters... it's balance due time which is slightly scary as means it's not that long away (which is also exciting of course!!)

We still have a few places, so it is possible that an additional payment may be required from everyone if we can't fill them and the price goes up. Let's hope not, but just need to make you aware.

Currently Trisha Newson is raring to go, but needs a roomie, but we would need two more ladies as well for even numbers (I have asked Lyn & Marion how they are fixed). But.... ask your playing buddies and friends/new members. 36 would be totally awesome, but if not, 32 will have to do to keep an even keel and for rotation on Sunday.

So... payments online as before CLICK HERE

Add: the amount you are paying, your name as a reference, and email if you want, then proceed to payment. Amounts as follows:
Diana / Jean - £74 each
Penny / Debbie - £74 each
Julie /  Janice - £74 each
Sue  / Carol M - £74 each
Lesley / Molly - £74 each
Sally - £74
Shirley - £59
Rena - £26
Gina - £74
Coral / Annette - £74 each
Jane - £74
Pat / Carol E - £74 each
Helen / Andrew - £74 each

If your name isn't listed above, you have either paid in full or I have contacted you separately, so don't panic (Mr Mainwaring!!)

Any problems let me know.
Thanks ladies, PLC x

Lady Captain's Day

Well, ladies, it was a great turn out thank you all for participating. I had a great day and hope you did too.
The weather was good to us which was a big plus. Duncan said the Pimms was a big success but that goes without say with our ladies well done. I will have to say the day would not have gone as smoothly without all the help from the committee as well as all the lovely ladies of West Malling.  The Ladies section raised an amazing £1025.00 for Newlife and understand the men raised over £1000.00 so also a good day for Newlife.
LADIES V PEGASUS MATCH

IF POSSIBLE COULD YOU PLEASE WEAR WHITE WM SHIRT AND BLACK SKIRT ETC.
THANK YOU
