Mixed Away Day Report

It was the last bank holiday in May and time for the West Malling mixed away day in which 16 couples took part at Boughton Golf Club. The weather was lovely and off we went. There was the usual banter, talking whilst people were teeing off etc, all in good fun of course.

There were 4 couples with 40 points which is amazing but after count back the 1st prize went to Clive and Sadie Millgate, 2nd Lew Evans and Rena Jones and 3rd Jane Woodward and Jill Gambling ....now that's another story!!!
Nearest the Pins went to Caroline Harrison and Andy Martin and Longest Drives went to Sue Stickland and Peter Burbridge.

After golf we all sat down to a lovely meal and the banter continued. All in all a great day out with our friends and over £100 was raised for our charity.
So, thank you to Lydia for arranging a great day out and thank you to you all for supporting our mixed competitions.

The next competition is the Mixed Flag Sunday 12th July and the sheet is up on our board.
