Ladies
Thank you to everyone who donated wine or balls to our Open bottle and ball sweep on Tuesday.
Doing this sweep for the lady captains charity is appreciated and I am very grateful.
I am thrilled to let you know that we raised over £280 on the day and I know we also got given a few other donations.
I would also like to thank Lesley for selling the raffle tickets on the day and with the help of Pat and Carol set the table up speedily making it look nice.
Sue G and Denise then manned the table and that way got to speak to a lot of our guests and ensured everyone had the right prize! Thank you to them.
One lady won 5 prizes - not a bad result for 6 strips for £5! She did share with her playing partners.
Unclaimed prizes (we had a couple) will go to the autumn meeting sweep next month.
