Captain's Drive-in

Thank you to everyone who came along yesterday to see Gill and Roy putt out before John and I drove in. The rain held off just long enough for a few photos to be taken and and our first balls as Captains to be hit. 

My slightly underwhelming drive managed 155 yards before a tree intervened, so to those of you with a ticket in the 170s (OK, Sara!) I apologise! The winner of the closest ticket is Lindsay Hart with 156, so there is a large bottle of Prosecco waiting for you.

Kate drew the Christmas tree bauble ticket for another equally large bottle of fizz, and Judith is the lucky winner of that.

I'd like to wish you all a very Happy & Prosperous New Year and very much look forward to seeing and playing with as many of you as I can over the year.
