Stupid Cupid Fun Competition

On Saturday 17^th February, the second of the ‘Stupid Cupid’ competitions took place on the Spitfire course. It was a glorious Spring day and although conditions of the course were more favourable than on Tuesday, the  4 groups of 3 who had signed up for the competition selected to play a 9 hole competition as had been decided previously. Some good scores were achieved across the groups but the winning group was Julie Harris, Pat West and Shirley Miller with a score of 32 Stableford points, followed by Lindsey Hart, Sally Payne and Judith Parkhurst with a score of 31. Thanks to Lesley Shott who sponsored the Nearest the Pin competition and this was won by Donna Chuter.
