Mixed Away Day

Wow, what a beautiful day it turned out to be and Pedham Place was in fine condition for our annual mixed away day. A right scorcher, and that included some scores not just the weather!
Cracking food I thought, starting with the bacon rolls.

A few mentions: It was lovely to welcome some new faces and I hope you enjoyed yourselves and will come back again! Hats off to one of those, Chris for even playing at all with his very badly bruised left hand, which is actually a fractured ring finger!!). Well done Sue G for giving it your all on your own, and a very good score too (I have your two goody bags BTW), very well played Mrs Miller for your individual score (nett 69 no less!!) and a great supplementary card, and, Lydia, thanks again for organising Pedham for us, much appreciated.

Prizes on offer were the usual as well as the chance to buy some wild flower seeds for charity flower patches at West Malling, and go into the hat to win a lesson with Michael (very kindly donated).
