Swinging Sixties – Thursday, 07 June 2018

Firstly, a big thank you to Debbie Satchell for organising the day for the Swinging Sixties in my absence.

My heart sank a little on Wednesday when I saw that the weather forecast for Thursday gave rain and thought ‘oh no, not again’! Luckily it couldn’t have been more wrong and we had a lovely day for our golf – no rain, sunny and not too hot. I think (hope) everyone enjoyed the day.  

The scores were all very close, but the results were as follows:

1^st  - Lesley Shott, Jean Albeck, Joan Brewood

2^nd - Judith Parkhurst, Molly Ball, Denise Farley

3^rd - Sue Stickland, Viv Warren, Penny Rowland

4^th – Carol Martin, Pam Honeybone, Helen Cornwell

Thanks to all the ladies that took part and those who joined us just for lunch and to our Lady Captain for presenting the prizes.
