Tappin Trophy Match at Woodlands Manor

The Tappin Trophy team, Sharon Taylor, Kim Wellman and Margaret Barnard played at Woodlands Manor today.  Sadly, the team lost in a closely contested match 2 and 1.   Two of the games went to the 18th hole and the other to the 15th.  Everyone enjoyed their games and the course.   With hindsight, perhaps, I was rather unfair to Margaret asking her to play Woodlands Manor with its infamous Eiger holes following her recent bout of pleurisy!!  In spite of this, Margaret put up a valiant fight, only losing out on the fianl putt. Sharon maintained her unbroken record of wins and Kim shone in her first outings for West |Malling. Well done to all the team (inluding Carol Martin, currently on holiday) and thank you all for playing in the Tappin Trophy team this year.
