26 couples took part in the mixed competition on Sunday 21st October. The early starters definitely had the best of the weather whereas the last players out had to put up with the miserable rain. Despite this it was a great turnout and a good day was had by all. The results were as follows:
1st Lynne and Pete Skelton 43 pts
2nd Rena Jones & Lew Evans 39 pts
3rd Lisa Kiddie & Steve Wright 37 pts
Front 9 - Caroline & John Harrison 19 pts (on c/b with 6 couples!)
Back 9 - Kim Wollen & Kevin Swaisland 20pts
We were also very lucky to have Lawrence Dallaglio with us courtesy of the Skeltons- well Ok it was only a life size cardboard cut out of him but he still looked great!
