April's Winners

April’s winners

 We thought that it would be interesting for the ladies section, if we posted the results of our  competitions. We will not include the stableford or medal competitions as they are all available via the club web site.

This months winners are:

Spring Meeting, Tuesday 9^thApril

There were 35 ladies entered this year, the weather was cold, windy and damp, which was reflected somewhat in the scores.

Cecil Leitch 5 Club, Sunday 14^thApril

18 Ladies entered this competition, which was held on the Hurricane course this year. It was a closely fought competition, with count back having to be used in 3 different ways before a winner could be announced. The final result was as follows:

1^stC. Elliot

2^nd A Jenner

3^rdC Eldridge

None of these ladies were able to go forward to the final at St Augustine and therefore 4^thplaced Donna Chuter will represent West Malling.

Easter Fun, Tuesday 16^thApril

There was a great turnout for this competition with 27 ladies signing up.

Easter Fun, Saturday 20^thApril

There were 12 players entered for this competition. The winning 3 ball was:

Donna Chuter, Carol Martin and Julie Harris

Daily Mail Foursomes Tuesday 23^rdand Saturday 27^thApril

There were 10 pairs entered for the Tuesday competition and 6 for the Saturday. As there can be only 1 winner going through from the club to the next round, it was an anxious wait for the girls who played on the Tuesday, and the winners overall were:
