The most popular competition of the year took place today-The Yard of String.
This is always a great competition and great fun. The weather was awful, but that didn’t put anyone off, you could hear the laughter all around the course.
We were 1 pair short but even the rotten weather didn’t put Rob and Debbie Satchell off playing, they soldiered on.
Great scores were achieved, but the winners with a score of 46 were Lee and Georgina Venus,
2nd Mark Miller and Sally Payne with a score of 45 and 3rd Joe and Julie Harris with 43.
