We need to confirm who will be attending Viv's funeral as the family have requested that they know numbers in advance. Everyone is welcome to attend.

I will  confirm numbers on 4th May on behalf of the West Malling ladies section so please contact me and I will consolidate numbers as per the notice I posted in the changing room at the weekend which some of you may have seen.

Arrangements as follows:

Friday 8th May at 12.noon
Funeral to be held @  Medway crematorium
Blue bell  hill
Robin Hood lane
Chatham
ME5 9QU

Afterwards
Kings Arms  Meopham DA13 0QB

The family have said that flowers and donations are requested from family and the ladies section only.

A floral tribute will be organised from the ladies section. If you would like to donate /contribute can you please give money to the office by 30/4. Additional money collected can be donated to who Roy and the family advise or the Maidstone Kent Oncology unit where Viv had treatment. I will let you know.

This is a sad time for our section as Viv was a much loved member. We will speak to Roy when the time is right with any other tributes to remember Viv but for now I know that we need to be reunited in our grief and support each other through the next few weeks.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with Viv's family.
