Diary updates - July 2015

Ladies 

Just wanted to let you know of a few changes to up coming events. 

The planned pro nite on the 13th July has been postponed to 2 September. 
This was due to lack of support so hopefully the revised date works better as should be out of peak holiday season. 

Summer party 18th July 
This event has been cancelled. Russ let me know yesterday. He is disappointed as you can imagine. 

I agreed a few revisions to the ladies calendar at the committee meeting  this week. 

Wednesday boys match - I have offered dates in October so await confirmation and a sheet will be posted once confirmed. 

Mixed team comp will now be held on 25th October instead of 11th as we have rescheduled the Men vs ladies charity day as previously communicated - the sign up sheet has been posted for the charity day as guests can join for lunch and we get exclusive use of the carvery so need to know numbers. 

We have slotted an additional 9 hole stableford in October to replace the ones cancelled whilst work on the spitfire took place. We have no other options for more but we do have 2 others scheduled at the back end of the year so these remain unchanged - this gives everyone the opportunity to  complete their cards for 2015. 

I will post the revised diary on the noticeboard and include copies if you want to take during the next week.

Merlins match 22/9 will be posted shortly 
Thanksgiving evening in November - we need to know numbers so I will post a sheet shortly so you can indicate your interest. 
Lady captains away day - the sign up sheet is up. We are booked in at Birchwood Park so hopefully you can join the day out as it is not too far. 

Availability and section admin 
Our competition team continue to do a great job so can you ensure if you are not able to play that you inform them. Also, we have a few competition fees outstanding. Chasers have been sent out so hopefully these will be paid up in a timely manner. 
For the friendly matches this year we have struggled getting a team together on a number of occasions. Can you please check your availability for the remaining fixtures and ensure you are still free and happy to play so that Lisa can sort the team out. 
Thanks go to everyone who filled in at short notice though as without them we would not have been able to field a full squad. These are fun great value days out which are organised well and your support is appreciated.
